"You breathed infinity into my world" -Missy Higgins

First of all,
Can I just say that it is only tuesday and this week has already the best week I can remember for a while?
I just feel so happy and motivated. Don't ask me why, but if I figure it out I will be sure to let you know.
Second of all,
I GOT MY COMPUTER BACK! My sister was using it to study for a week or so, but now I have it back and I can put pictures and videos up. :)
Third of all, (the whole point of this post)
I really love life.
Yes, I may seem a tad too optimistic tonight, but I can't help it.

There are some really good people in this world.
When I got home from Ecuador until about today, I have had a really hard time being around everyone here.
Everyone so concerned with money, saving face, and themselves. The strong sense of pride in this country threw me off big time, and I had a hard time caring about anyone's petty problems here. I had one message to give to people...
Stop caring about stupid things!
Choose to be happy and you will be.
There is so much more to life.
That is all I could think about.

BUT (there is always a but, yeah?)

These past couple days have been an eye opener.
Someone upstairs really wants me to see that there are such good people out there who are incredibly sincere and care for the important things in life.
I have met and gotten to know a few people within the past little while and it's incredible how good they were. Through and through. No judgement. No hidden adjendas. Just kindness and concern.

I have found it so refreshing.

They brought me back to love the people around me.
And you know what else?

It is sooo fun and nice to hang out with someone who is so optimistic and positive about everything. I have found that when someone is like that, it is easier to love the people around them. They are just so comfortable with who they are. They are comfortable in their own skin, and honestly that makes me comfortable being around them.

I have yet to find the one feeling I've been searching for since I left my sweet babies.
As I open my eyes more and more I find them throughout my day in the sweet person who says hello and smiles, or the boy who waits, holding the door open until I get all the way down the hall, just so I don't have to open the door myself, the person who asks to be my partner and saves all of my anxiety of finding someone to work with, and finally, the adorable kids who run around the neighborhood, laughing and smiling the whole day.
I find that yes, the feeling here will never amount to what I found in Ecuador, but I have to live for that feeling. I have to live the way I did  in Ecuador to even get the least bit close to what I felt there. I have to immerse myself in service and forget myself. I have to forget how much I miss my babies and live for them. In honor of them. Because they taught me more than I would have ever expected and I can't just come back and lose all of the incredible love and happiness that they gave me.

They are my reason to live.
They are the reason I smile.
They are the reason I laugh.
They are the reason my heart is full.
They are the reason I am where I am.

I'll never be able to thank them enough and love them enough for what they gave to me.
So I leave you with a challenge,

Think about who or what you love with all of your heart.
Something that is so incredibly important to you and has made you who you are today.

Think of the blessings, love, and happiness this person, things, or people have brought into your life.

Now go live for them.
Pass it along.
Give to others what they have given to you.

As the Disney Channel stars say it best,
"love, isn't love

'til you give it away
We've all gotta give
Yeah,something to give
To make a change
Send it on
On and on
Just one hand can heal another
Be a part
Reach your heart
Just one spark starts a fire
With one little action the chain reaction
Will never stop
Make it strong
Shine a light and send it on..."
